A small board that connects to your fishing line while trolling designed to pull your line and lure out to the side of the boat opposed to having it trail behind.

The Skipper's Tip

A side planner board that is rigged to come off with slight pressure (when a fish gets hooked) will help you re-locate the spot you were last at allowing you to repeat the same pass.
