The inability to use any live or dead baitfish, insects, live or dead leaches, worms etc, artificial scent (including scented bait), foods (meat, cheeses etc.).

Bait bans are often used in lakes that are considered as trophy lakes, you may not catch as many fish as when you use your secret weapon but most likely the payoff comes in size.
